North Yorks Moors Adventure Cycling evening presentation

101 Things To Do In Whitby

Dalby Bike Barn in Dalby Forest has organised two brilliant speakers for their
first ThrillseekingAdventure presentation nights. Local legend Mike Hall is our
very own Yorkshire endurance cycling hero (31 yrs old from harrogate) who this
summer set a new official Round The World Cycle Record of 91 days 18 hours
recognised by the Guinness Book Of Records smashing the previous record
by nearly nine days.

Mike completed this amazing feat riding solo and completely unsupported.

He will be giving us an insight into his preparation, bike setup, travel
issues, the people and places as he cycled 200 miles on average per
day. Mike is becoming something of an endurance cycling specialist and will
also talk about his 19 day Tour Divide Race down through Canada and the USA to
Mexico this time totalling 2745miles.

Adrian Carter the MD of Pace Cycles will also give an insight into the ancient 500
mile Pilgimage trail- the ‘Santiago Compostela’ across Spain which he and his wife
Cathy completed in 2011.

The evening is in aid of Mikes charity (http://cycle-a-difference.com/) to
raise funds to help reduce newborn child mortality. Event will include food with
Pace Cycles providing a complimentary free drink.
